Cacao Procurement Policy

The Nisshin OilliO Group is committed to realizing and developing a sustainable society by promoting initiatives based on the following policy to resolve societal and environmental issues that arise in the Group’s cacao supply chain.

• We procure cacao that is free of illegal child labor and deforestation.
• We cooperate with suppliers involved in the Group’s cacao supply chain to procure cacao sustainably and maintain accurate traceability.
• We will continue to improve sustainability and traceability in the Group’s cacao supply chain.
• We foster customer and consumer understanding of sustainable cacao.
• We respond appropriately to problems that arise in the Group’s cacao supply chain.
• We regularly report on our efforts with stakeholders in the Group’s cacao supply chain.
